Plant-based Perky Nana slice

This easy-to-make dessert is perfect for satisfying your sweet cravings while offering a delightful mix of textures and flavours. Made with wholesome ingredients like almond meal, medjool dates, and coconut cream, this slice is a healthier alternative to traditional sweets.

Perky na na slice recipe:
Ingredients
Chewy base:
1 ½ cup almond meal
¾ cup medjool dates, soaked
¼ cup cacao powder
1/4 cup maple syrup
2 Tbsp almond butter
Pinch of salt

Creamy banana filling:
1 can coconut cream (refrigerate before using)
1 tin coconut condensed milk
1 sliced banana

Chocolate topping:
1 cup dark chocolate, melted
1/4 cup coconut yoghurt

Method:
1. Blend the base ingredients until combined and press into a loaf tin lined with baking paper.
2. Place in the freezer while preparing the filling.
3. Mix the filling ingredients in a bowl until well combined. Pour over the base and return to the freezer.
4. Mix together the melted dark chocolate and coconut yoghurt for the topping.
5. Pour over the filling and set in the freezer for two hours before slicing.
6. Store in the freezer until ready to consume.
